About the Hotel Services Training Advisory Group

The Hotel Services Training Advisory Group was established in 1993 and has constantly strived to meet the training needs of staff enabling them to achieve the level of performance that is now expected.  This is done by organising and facilitating conferences, course, lectures, workshops and master classes for Senior Managers, Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders, Porters, Chefs etc and providing specialist training to a range of front line staff employed within Hotel Services.

Hotel Services TAG members are NHS staff who meet bi-monthly to assess and progress the training development of operational staff (First Line Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders, Charge-Hands, Porters etc) employed within Catering and Support Services.  Events are then organised to meet those training needs.

The aim of the Hotel Services TAG is to continue their success and continue to provide the training required by staff employed within Hotel Services – Catering, Linen Services, Portering, Transport and Domestic Services.

A wide range of courses and conferences have been organised reflecting both functional need and corporate hotel services issues.

The HS TAG continues to cover topical issues and provide interactive learning and networking opportunities for participants on a multi-trust basis.
