The Low Wood Hotel

THE FM ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2009

A TWO-DAY RESIDENTIAL EVENT

“MID LIFE CRISIS!”

held on

THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, 17TH AND 18TH SEPTEMBER 2009

at

LOW WOOD HOTEL, WINDERMERE, CUMBRIA

As the country and the world in general goes through a financial crisis, the NHS has been somewhat sheltered through its funding mechanism. Recent announcements show that this is about to change.

So with the continuing drive for greater efficiency, quality measures with penalties and the phony war over shifting services about to end, how will the NHS respond to these challenges and what might it mean for support services?

The conference brings together speakers who are willing to share their views on how the NHS may look in the future, the real challenges for the NHS and how the shift of service closer to patients’ homes will impact on the size and configuration of hospitals and healthcare facilities in the future.

The conference will enable delegates to share their knowledge with like minded colleagues, as well as creating the opportunity to challenge all involved in the delivery of estates and facilities to ensure the services we provide to our patients are aspirational, sustainable and fit for the future.

Come and join us

The conference is always well attended so delegates are encouraged to register their interest as early as possible
