A STRATEGIC APPROACH TO SECURITY IN THE NHS

There are many National Health Service security issues to be addressed. Physical assaults and abuse are particular concerns that have to be given priority. All those who work so hard to deliver quality patient care and services have the right to do so without the fear of violence.
Ensuring security within such a large and diverse service as the NHS is no small task.
To support this, each health body has been asked to nominate someone at executive director level to take the lead on security management issues and, in particular, tackling violence.
This event will therefore be of interest to those EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS and their SUPPORTING MANAGERS who have the responsibility for managing security at a strategic level, and those who work closely with their Local Security Management Specialists.
The programme includes speakers from a number of professionals external to the NHS, but who have a significant supporting role to play.
THIS CONFERENCE WILL BE OF SPECIAL INTEREST TO TRUST BOARD MEMBERS AND SENIOR MANAGERS WHO HAVE EITHER RESPONSIBILITY OR AN INTEREST IN IMPLEMENTING SECURITY STRATEGIES WITHIN THEIR ORGANISATIONS.
The cost of attending the conference is £125.00 per person OR, £100 each if two or more attend from the same Trust/Organisation.
This includes attendance at the conference, course handouts, coffee/tea on arrival, mid morning coffee/tea and biscuits, buffet luncheon and afternoon tea/coffee and biscuits.
