present a one-day seminar on VENTILATION IN HEALTHCARE PREMISESto be held on THURSDAY, 29th APRIL 2004 at THE CONFERENCE CENTRE, The management, operation and maintenance of special environments for healthcare is an increasingly complex affair. In view of the growing importance now being attached to air hygiene and air purity, this one-day course will be of special interest to a variety of people, including managerial and technical staff, anyone in fact who needs an appreciation of the essential guidance contained in the document HTM 2025, Ventilation In Healthcare Premises. This seminar has been specially designed by Malcolm Thomas (Lead author HTM 2025), to meet the ESTATES TAG requirements and will provide the attending delegates with the breadth and depth of knowledge needed. It will examine the specific requirements for the provision of ventilation in healthcare premises and explain the thinking behind current standards. The day will bring together a diverse range of expertise to deliver a focused and comprehensive day on ventilation and related issues. The current programme for the day is detailed inside. However, because of initiatives for reducing hospital acquired infections and guidance which will soon be coming on line regarding indoor air quality, the programme may be changed slightly to include the very latest information. THIS CONFERENCE WILL BE OF SPECIAL INTEREST TO ESTATE AND FACILITIES MANAGERS AND OFFICERS, CAPITAL PROJECT MANAGERS, INFECTION CONTROL PERSONNEL AND TEAM LEADERS, OPERATING DEPARTMENT MANAGERS, HEALTH & SAFETY AND RISK MANAGERS. WE ARE EXPECTING THIS CONFERENCE TO BE EXTREMELY POPULAR. The cost of attending the conference is £100.00 per person. This includes attendance at the conference, course handouts, coffee/tea on arrival, mid morning coffee/tea and biscuits, buffet luncheon and afternoon tea/coffee and biscuits.
